Computer Advanced Module Overview:

This module aims to provide students with a basic introduction to IT skills that will be required in their studies and NCC Education related assignments. Students will learn basic skills in using word processors, spreadsheets, presentation software, project, project management, diagramming software, database management, system development. The module will focus on the Microsoft Office suite.

Objectives:

Upon successful completion of this module candidates will be able to apply a satisfactory performance in the following areas:

• Unit 1: An Introduction to Word Processing
• Unit 2: Edit Word Processed Document
• Unit 3: Format a Word Processed Document
• Unit 4: An Introduction to Spreadsheets
• Unit 5: Use Spreadsheet Formulae
• Unit 6: Edit and Format a Spreadsheets
• Unit 7: Creating Graphs from Spreadsheets
• Unit 8: An Introduction to Presentation Software
• Unit 9: Edit and Format a Presentation
• Unit 10: Add Animation and Other Effects to a Presentation
